Non-Statutory engagement for this project is now closed. The project team are busily refining the design for the site in the approach to development application lodgement.
Latest concept plans

The pre-approval DA circulation phase plans are now available for review by the community and provide important updates and changes following the latest round of engagement. You can download these plans using the button below.
Please be aware that these plans will continue to be refined in the approach to lodgment of the development application. There may be modifications and updates to these plans. This ongoing refinement ensures that the final design meets the needs and expectations of the community while adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices.
Final engagement reporting

A copy of the final engagement report will be available soon - watch this space.
Before construction begins, we will thoroughly test and refine these plans to ensure they meet community expectations and align with the Place Design Brief. We encourage you to participate in engagement activities and share your feedback.
WHERE ARE WE?
We’re currently in Phase 4 of our project roadmap: Pre-approval DA Circulation.
The ACT Government engaged with the local community across 2022 and 2023 to discuss the opportunities for the future development of the site. Key themes that emerged from these discussions included safety, versatility, connectivity and accessibility, and access to nature within urban spaces—highlighting the importance of green spaces in urban environments.
In March 2023 the Suburban Land Agency (SLA) released the Phillip Block 1, Section 7 Place Design Brief as a record of its early engagement with the community. It summarises the functions, attributes, and development characteristics that the community identify as desirable and wish to see implemented within the new development site.
Below are the five objectives deriving from the Place Design Brief to represent the community’s strongest values for the site.
